Custom built multi-channel burn-in system for
multi-electrode tunable laser. Manually controlled

This System was built in response to
a customer's requirement for a burn-in system for a
newly developed tunable laser. The system was capable of
driving 30 multi-electrode tunable lasers and saved data
via GPIB on a PC. Project involved development of custom
multi-electrode laser driver; design and assembly of
laser driver, laser driver boards and back planes;
development of data acquisition software; mechanical
design of sheet metal parts and final assembly of the
system.
The system was delivered in under 14 weeks.
